Obviously driven by the story of a woman biting off her husband’s tongue, another quality pair ended up in a police station after the husband complained his wife had bitten off his penis.

The man had decided to have a mistress but not being too bright, chose his wife’s sister to mess about with. Obviously, his wife found out about this and planned to cut his dick off during the night and hid a knife under her pillow. However, he found the knife and threw it away which clearly lead him to believe all was well and even accepted a night of passion, but the passion turned to pain when, after sticking his dick into her mouth, she decided to chow down and bit it off.

This couple were shown on TV this morning. He looked rather cheerful considering, but she had a face I’d not stick your dick into !!

I saw a news item recently that showed a man lying on a hospital bed with a very bloody looking mouth and next to him, in another bed was a rather battered looking woman.

Apparently, they were husband and wife and the story went on to say that the husband had been drinking and when he got home kept jabbering on about stuff and generally hassling his wife in true Isan farmer style.

The wife clearly tired of this and even though she had told him repeatedly to shut up, decided that the best way to shut him up was to bite his tongue out. Which she did.

This obviously annoyed the husband who proceded to batter his wife senseless thus committing them both to hospital where neither of them were seen talking to one another.

As part of my trip to Kao Yai, I went to Chok Chai Steak House which is part of the Chok Chai farm.

This is a much hailed place by the Thais and it’s made a big name for itself and the owners are very rich, but don’t be fooled by the hype or even the name.

The word “steak” is used quite loosely so if you are a fine of good steaks, give this place a miss because it serves meat, not steaks; at least not in the sense that westerners are used to.

For a start, the menu is quite limited. I saw now Sirloin steaks and no filet steaks. There were some “prime steaks” and a t-bone. plus a filet mignon but that’s about it.

Forget about ordering it as you like it because the steak is served on a sizzling hot plate like in a Chinese restaurant and so your steak continues to cook all the time you are eating it. I ordered a medium rare “more rare than medium” and it ended up a medium. No red meat to be seen anywhere.

The steak came with 5 french fried ( not fries ), cubed carrots, boiled cabbage, beans and some white vegetable. It’s the same serving as every other Thai restaurant.

To make it “worse” EVERY Thai in the place was giving their steaks a swimming lesson in tomato ketchup… they love that fickin’ stuff. They don’t add a touch to the side of their plate for the 5 fries, they band the crap out of the bottle until their steak is covered in it. They cut up their steak into little pieces before eating it and they scoop up every last drop of ketchup.

The point of this story ? Go to McDonalds / Burger King etc as they serve a more meaty treat than Chok Chai Farm.

PLUS, the buggers poured frickin’ gravy over the steak !

It’s another rip off for tourists, but this time it’s Kao Yai National Park.

Last weekend I went with my Thai wife and her family. We all piled into a large 4 x 4 and headed to Kao Yai. We stayed at a great resort and the stay was a good one. On the last day of our visit, we decided to go to Kao Yai National Park to take a look at some monkeys and to grab a bite to eat.

When we got to the entrance to Kao Yai National Park, my wife’s father paid 218 Baht in total for a car of 8 adults and two kids ( yes, it was a large 4 x 4 ) but they jokingly told me not to open the door and to stay low.

 I realise why when I saw the entrance fees:

Once again, as with Ocean World at Siam Paragon, the prices for Thais was written in Thai, but it worked out at something like 25 Baht per adult and less for kids but the tourist prices were:

Kids = 200 Baht
Adults = 400 Baht

The Kao Yai National Park seems to have very little that justifies the fee. Admittedly, we didn’t go very far into the park but from what I could see, it was the same as going up Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai (which is free).

It’s another example of Thailand ripping off the tourists and being sneaky about it by hiding the fee that Thais pay.

It’s bad enough that the fee is 1,600% higher than the fee Thais pay, but it’s made worse when there’s nothing really there to justify the price.

Rip Off Thailand in a nutshell really.

I have a multi-function machine from Canon. It’s an MP780 and was a very good machine until the black ink stopped printing. Colour worked, scanner, fax et al all worked but just the black.

The machine cost me roughly 8,000 Baht about 3 - 4 years ago and it’s had very light usage and been treated with much love and effection and so to get it back to perfect health I took it to Canon HQ at Bangkok City Tower and left it with them.

The next day I received a call telling me the repair… just for making the black ink work…… would be 17,000 Baht !!

The latest, top model, home / small office multi-function costs half that !! When I pointed this out, I was told I could buy the new one at special price because my old one was broken.

Is this some kind of lame method of making people buy Canon products ? - Buy a Canon and if it breaks out of warranty, pay double the initial cost to repair it or buy a new one cheap.

I am now the proud owner of a new HP OfficeJet J6480 All-IN-One and it’s lovely. Smaller than the Canon and works a treat.

The little bastards !! How do they know and how do they communicate ?

It’s like this: I went to Chatuchak and took some photos with my new D300 + frickin’ expensive lens and was more interested in the zapping noises coming from the tennis raquet type thingys that loads of Thais were selling out of boxes.

Mosquito killers ! Fantastic. Sign me up !, so I bought one of these tennis raquets after watching the sellers demonstrate a few hundred times, the zapping noise it makes when something gets between the meshing. Not only does it make a zapping, cracking type sound, it makes a spark and I was like a kid in a store when they first see someone dressed up as Santa. “look mummy..look !”.

So, I have one at home. Fully charged and I’m ready to do some huntin’. But there’s a problem, the little fornicators of they that gave birth to them, clearly know what the damned thing does.

I’m not kidding when I say that they taunt me. They flitter around in front of my face as I watch TV or do some work on my computer and as soon as I jump up and get my bat, they’re gone; leaving me a flailing idiot swatting at thin air as if I were playing Federer himself.

If I could magnify the little buggers I’m sure they’d be flicking me the bird.

To date, I’ve mashed two glasses, knocked the phone off the hook and fallen over the coffee table.

I swear that this raquet is going out the bloody window and I’ll resort to slapping myself every now and then.

How to calm down after a failed swatting session: Put on Jigsaw by Marillion and turn up the guitar solo or download a song by Royksopp called: What Else is There (Mark Stagg Radio Edit)…. there’s only one way to listen to that….hehehehe

This is run by a woman named Siripan.

This company took our money and let us get to the airport only to be told by the check in staff that the tickets had been canceled. Thai Network Travel took our money, made no effort to tell us there was an issue and now makes false promises daily, that it will return the money.

Thai Network Travel is not a full agent, it is a sub agent and uses another, major agent, to buy its tickets.

Thai Network Travel has bad credit and can’t afford to cover the costs of the tickets you buy, so if you give Thai Network Travel any money, it has to use that money to buy your tickets from another, larger agent. By giving them money, you are not buying a ticket, you are handing money over to a person who hopes they canbuy a ticket and make a profit, and if not, she will keep the money anyway.

In our case, she had spent the money and not bought the tickets.

After one month of trying to get back 120,000 Baht, we have, to date, received 20,000 Baht.

“luckily” we paid the remaining fee by credit card and we are probably covered but be aware of such parasites.

Watching, as I am now, the inauguration of the 44th president of the United States, I am extremely happy I am not an American. It’s embarrassing.
Like everything American, it’s over kill, self righteous and full of fan-fair.

I’m glad Obama made it. I just hope he can tame the self love America has for itself.

The USA, as it presently stands, is a horrible nation and it needs a major kick in the balls to bring itself down to earth.

“We will not apologise for our way of life…” This is what Obama just said…. but he should. He should apologise for the way America treats the rest of the world and how America expects other nations to follow its lead.

Even though Obama has delivered an excellent speech, it still wreaks of Americanism.. If you change, we’ll accept you to our bosom.  This is the American way.. change to their way of thinking and accept their way of doing things and it’ll be OK.

An Australian author has been jailed in Thailand for three years for insulting the King of Thailand and the royal family. Apparently, he wrote a book which insulted the royal family and stated that his family was better.
The book, which has sold only 7 copies ( so far, but with this publicity might well go on to sell thousands more ) was clearly this poor chap’s demise.
He was seen on the news this morning wearing leg irons and chains walking through the prison along with all the other prisoners.

It’s quite unlikely that he will serve anything close to three years as it’s probable that he’s being made an example of and will receive a pardon after a few weeks or months, but he’ll certainly be deported and listed as being an
